Why me?

  • I have 15 years of experience in this business, both for start-up companies and for major corporations, including Microsoft, Amazon, and Facebook, where I’ve created and managed content for Xbox, Seagate, Microsoft Office, Microsoft Windows, Kindle, Facebook News Feed, and the Facebook Home app.
  • I completed a Master of Communication in Digital Media from the University of Washington in 2013. At UW, I studied digital video storytelling techniques, the psychology of digital media, intellectual property law, and personal branding strategy, among other contemporary communications topics
  • I’m a successful blogger who has built a social community of typewriter collectors online who have staged events, made films, and attracted the attention of the press, including NPR and The New York Times. Relatedly, I’ve published a typewriter-themed literary magazine that is distributed by Microcosm Publishing
